Nadira Chaturvedi is an IIM Ahmedabad PGDBA 1975 batch, after doling her B Sc from Karnataka University. Since then she has gathered rich and varied experience and knowledge in the field of strategic management, human relations management, retail and industrial marketing. Nearly 30 years of which have been at the CEO level. Industries include auto ancillary, garment manufacturing. Her talent lies in building and restructuring enterprises by redefining businesses, building strong teams across the organization and increasing operational efficiencies.

Her entrepreneurial skills were discovered in her second assignment- after a beginning in marketing of consumer durables in Murphy Radios in 1975-77, when she set up an auto ancillary unit in 1978 ?Alpha Toyo Limited, a unique venture run and owned by women. This venture grew into a thriving business during the next few years. She then started her own business in 1991 and furthered her experience in this field. Her recent assignment was Givo Limited in 2001-2005 where she again successfully steered the financial and operational restructuring of the garment manufacturing unit into a retail  fashion brand and revamped overseas marketing.

Sound Finance, Customer orientation and HR have been the corner stones of all strategies in her career.

She transformed from a visiting guest faculty to full time teaching at Fostiima in 2008 where she handles multi disciplinary courses such as Business Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

Nadira is married to Amit Chaturvedi also an IIMA 1975 alumni who has an illustrious career in the automobile industry in India. They have a son and a daughter, the son is also an IIM C graduate.
