Bharat Patni

Mr. Bharat Patni is a Post Graduate in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (1974), and a graduate electrical engineer from IIT Roorkee (1968). Full time senior program management person till mid 2007 at Pratham arguably, India's largest initiative working on basic education for the underprivileged. He was actively involved with general management, fund raising, finance, accounts, legal matters, internal assessments, & donor management / reporting of projects across the country.

He dealt with several large Indian and foreign corporates, central and state governments, international NGOs and the Commonwealth Education Fund, The World Bank, MIT, Pittsburgh & Arizona State Universities, UNESCO, USAID, US & India based foundations, etc. Prior to 2001, worked as a senior management professional with various national (primarily Larsen & Toubro Limited) and international (in Doha) corporates for international contracting.
