Sunil Kala is an Engineering Graduate (1971) from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology at Jaipur. He completed his PGDBA from IIM Ahmedabad in 1973.

Sunil has been a Consultant with the Planning Commission, Govt. of India. After a stint at IBP Ltd.., he conceived and founded Perfect Management & System Consultants (P) Ltd. in the eighties. The company was engaged in computerization, implementation of application software systems and providing integrated software solutions much before the software boom in India.

Sunil was a member of the Delhi Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange from 1990 to 1997.

During this period his most significant professional Contribution was as a member of the 'Computerization Committee', which was responsible for the resultant transparency in the trading and settlement of shares among the world?s most advanced and efficient online trading systems.

Soft-spoken, pleasant mannered and ever smiling, Sunil has made significant contribution to the creation of and as a founder member of the pan IIM Alumni Association.

Sunil is  the Treasurer of  Sri Balaji Human Resource Development Trust. FOSTIIMA Business School benefits greatly from his networking skills.
